We Create Tech × RAD5 Tech Hub

The Need Is Real
Nigeria’s youth face serious employment and skills challenges. Recent reporting from the World Economic Forum notes that 23% of young Nigerians are actively looking for work, while another 32% are out of employment altogether.
The digital skills gap makes the challenge even greater. A 2025 UNICEF report found that 78% of Nigerian youth lack essential digital skills — and that 85% of graduates fall short of basic digital competence. Across Sub-Saharan Africa, the International Finance Corporation and World Bank have highlighted what’s at stake: 230 million jobs will require digital skills by 2030.
The gap is real. But so is the opportunity to close it.
